Description

We have about 900 hives which we move year-round to follow the blossoming flower trail so our bees can collect a variety of nectar from different floral sources. We take the bees to Lake Pedder, to Bruny Island, and to the Huon and Derwent Valleys, where they collect Leatherwood and Bush, Prickly Box and Manuka Honey.

Description:
* Prickly Box honey is a favourite amongst many customers who find the Leatherwood flavour “a bit too much”; Prickly Box is, in some respects, like a milder, more muted version of Leatherwood honey, with some tasters also finding hints of butterscotch.

* While the Australian native Bursaria spinosa plant can flower at any time of year, in Tasmania it typically flowers around Christmas time, hence one of its common names is the “Christmas bush”.

Additional information:
* Weight: 284 g

* Dimensions: 7 × 7 × 8 cm
