Description

We have about 900 hives which we move year-round to follow the blossoming flower trail so our bees can collect a variety of nectar from different floral sources. We take the bees to Lake Pedder, to Bruny Island, and to the Huon and Derwent Valleys, where they collect Leatherwood and Bush, Prickly Box and Manuka Honey.

* Sourced from the flowers of the isolation of Bruny Island, our dark Manuka honey is highly prized amongst connoisseurs, both winged and non-winged, irrespective of the recent buzz around the research into its medicinal qualities.

* Our last collection of Manuka Honey has been tested for its Methylglyoxal content and has returned a result of 300+ MGO (Active 15+)

* Which means that there’s over 300 milligrams of Methylglyoxal per kilo of honey.
